Is the 44th BSRM Scientific Meeting cancelled?
No. The BSRM Board has decided to transform the 44th BSRM Scientific Meeting into a fully virtual meeting.
Will the virtual congress take place at the same time as the BSRM Scientific Meeting dates?
Yes, the platform will first be available between November 26-28, 2020, with most sessions live-streamed according to the programme schedule.
What will the virtual meeting offer to delegates?
The BSRM virtual congress will offer you a full virtual experience and the opportunity to take part in every aspect of the programme including:
► Create your own schedule, attend any and all of the sessions wherever.
► Interaction with the speakers will be possible.
► Network with your colleagues. Browse the list of participants and click on their name to contact them.
► Participate in the scientific programme and be eligible to receive the number of RIZIV/INAMI credits attributed to the virtual meeting.
► Access all the e-posters. Connect with the abstract authors.
► Visit the virtual exhibition hall. Journey through the exhibition booths, explore the displayed materials, contact exhibitors directly, and chat with other visitors.
What do I need to attend the virtual congress?
To attend the virtual congress, you need a good internet connection and your computer, and a valid registration. You will receive login details a few days prior to the congress.
REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
I was already registered for the meeting in Dolce La Hulpe. Am I automatically registered for the virtual congress?
Yes, you are automatically registered for the virtual congress. Further details and guidance on how to navigate the meeting platform will be announced in due course.
What about the payment already executed for the scientific meeting, dinner & hotel accommodation?
The registration fees for the scientific meeting, dinner & hotel already paid will be reimbursed.
How do I register for the virtual congress?

BSRM Members will have the opportunity to register free of charge.
Non BSRM-members who wish to register should become a 2020 BSRM Member by indicating this on the registration form.
► Clinician – Reproductive biologist : 75 Euro (incl. 2020 membership)
► Paramedical – Resident in training : 40 Euro (incl. 2020 membership)
I have submitted an abstract to the 44th BSRM Scientific Meeting. Is my submission still valid?
Yes, your abstract submission is still valid, and you will be contacted in the next weeks with more information about it.
PROGRAMME AND SPEAKERS
Will all sessions and meetings that usually take place at the congress be organised online?
BSRM is doing their best to ensure that the virtual meeting will incorporate all session as orginally scheduled.
How do I claim my RIZIV/INAMI credits?
Your attendance on the virtual platform will be tracked and after the meeting you will be asked to complete an online evaluation form. BSRM will add your name on the INAMI/RIZV platform after completion of the evaluation form and having watched the presentations.
